SHH Architecture and Interiors are seeking a skilled BIM Specialist on a contract basis to set up our templates to Uniclass standards and ISO19650 compliance to support our BIM initiatives.

       About the Role

Responsibilities:
• Template Development: Create and set up BIM templates in accordance with Uniclass standards.
• BIM Standards Implementation: Ensure all BIM processes and standards align with Uniclass and ISO 19650 requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate BIM templates into the design and construction process.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct audits and reviews of BIM templates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to staff on the use of new BIM templates and workflows.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation related to BIM templates and standards.
• Handover Training: Provide comprehensive training to internal staff to ensure they can take over responsibility for BIM management and template maintenance after the contract period ends.

Contract Details:
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Compensation: Competitive contract rate based on experience.
• Start Date: Immediately

      Your Profile & Experience

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM management or a similar role, with a focus on template development and Uniclass standards. Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 is essential. Experience in delivering large-scale international projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Uniclass standards, ISO 19650, and BIM processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software such as ArchiCAD or Revit.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
