A note from Neil Hogan
‘Thank you all for your kind donations to the Distinguished gentleman’s ride.
It was completed yesterday with some 1200 bikes of all shapes ages and
sizes ( similarly the riders) with some seriously dapper attire!
As you can guess it caused great excitement with so many machine riding from the Olympic park to regents park and we’ll all feature on many a holiday snap.
The figures aren’t completed yet but the hope was to raise 3 million from the London ride alone. Bearing in mind other rides were happening all over the world on the same day, that should create a great fighting fund to stop us chaps falling fowl of the dreaded prostrate and depression that often strikes men of a certain age.
