Interior Designer

SHH is looking for an Interior Designer that will join our team in the Residential Interiors Department. Our project portfolio ranges from Super Prime Residential Homes, Penthouses, Villas, and Luxury Developments. We work closely with our clients to deliver their Ideal Living Space. The 15 strong team collaborate together on all aspects of Interior Design and this makes a great working environment.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about what they do, hardworking with a sound knowledge of the industry. The candidate will be creative, organised and excited to learn. The position will be full time, working in our offices at Ravenscourt Park, London for 4 days a week and 1 day from home.

       About the Role

  • The ideal candidate would have experience in running small to medium scale projects from inception through to completion.
  • Develop concepts and produce comprehensive mood boards for presentations to clients
  • Source, schedule and specify materials and finishes from a range of suppliers and consultants.
  • Provide timely and efficient support to the lead and Senior designers.
  • Proficient in producing hand sketches; refined use of Word/Excel based administration and a broad understanding and skills base in a CAD and Adobe software packages.

      Your Profile & Experience

  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • Five to six years’ experience as an interior designer in high-end luxury residential or commercial projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of suppliers and materials.
  • Good understanding of FF&E procurement and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about design with a can-do positive attitude.
  • Ownership of your work and contribution to the team.
  • Capable of working in a pressured environment with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Proficient in CAD, Adobe Suite especially InDesign and Microsoft 365.
  • Studio Webware experience preferred (or EstiMac which is a close equivalent)
