The arc of the building ensures every hotel room has panoramic mountain views

Aqua Park Hotel

Travel removes you from everyday experience, often to a place very different to the one in which you live. Gabala, in the north of Azerbaijan, with a history dating back to the 4th century BCE and a landscape of forests and lakes, alpine mountains and thermal springs, might just be one of those places.

This 4-star hotel is a base from where guests can engage in a wide range of leisure activities that are enabled by these landscapes, from water sports and hiking in summer, to skiing in winter.

The distinctive materiality of the hotels’ interiors draws on the regions historic and vernacular architecture, making use of local stone, timber, and construction ceramics, strongly embedding the hotel in its place.
