Set within gardens,
a detached villa on a tree-lined avenue

Cavendish Avenue

Cavendish Avenue, once part of the Eyre Estate, was developed around 1830 with detached villas on garden plots for those wanting elegant suburban retreats or a semi-rural idyll in close proximity to Central London. Some of this character has been maintained into the present day.

Neglected since the Second World War and requiring significant repair, this Grade II Listed property was bought by our client to return it to its original elegance, in the process creating a home for a young family.

Reinstated and restored period details now sit in dialogue with contemporary insertions and our present notions of comfort and use.
