South Quay Serviced Apartments

Do compact spaces prioritise enhancing economic value over guest experience? With these long-stay serviced apartments in one of London’s financial districts, we worked closely with the client to ensure these two goals aren’t mutually exclusive.

Guest experience starts with the threshold. We inset each apartments entrance door from the corridor for privacy, and security. On entering we have provided places to put your keys, your glasses, your bag, ready for when you next leave. The narrow, deep apartments use a series of framed, sliding screens which control privacy, modulate daylight, and transform the space from closed to open depending on guest need.

Variety across apartments is economically achieved through changes in colour, allowing us to surprise repeat guests.
